Love was in the air at Lenny and Vicki’s wedding! Not only between the bride and the groom, but between the couple and their guests. When I arrived to photograph Lenny and Vicki’s big day I could not help but notice how excited everyone was to watch this sweet couple finally tie the knot. Family and friends were all smiles and tears as Lenny and Vicki exchanged their vows and proclaimed as husband and wife. When it was time for toasts, people were popping up all over the reception room gushing about the newly wedded couple. Some guests could barely make it through their speech without pausing so that they wouldn’t cry. It was a pure genuine love that they all shared toward Lenny and Vicki. That is one of many reasons why I love weddings. It’s always such a joy to capture the variety of love that is exchanged throughout the day. One of my favorite memories from this wedding was the fact that it was a Champion Outlaw cheer reunion. I was a cheerleader on Outlaws along with Vicki. She invited many of her teammates to the wedding and it was crazy to see some of these faces that I haven’t seen since junior high! People were ready to start stunting one another on the dance floor, but with the mixture of dresses, heels, and drinks everyone decided that it probably wouldn’t be the best idea. I also loved when the bride and groom took on the role as bartenders during the reception. In his suit and in her wedding gown, Lenny and Vicki became quite the dynamic duo servicing drinks to all their guests. It was a beautiful wedding filled with high energy, reunions, and love. I am so happy I was able to be a part of it! Congrats Lenny and Vicki!
