Happy one year anniversary to a pair of my best friends! Last October, I was honored to be a bridesmaid in Josh and Riley’s wedding. They got married at one of my favorite venues, Lake Oak Meadows. Their day was beautiful, romantic, intimate, Jesus filled, and surrounded with joy. It sprinkled off and on throughout their day, but I love that these two embraced the weather and experienced each moment to the fullest. So much has changed in one year and it was fun to head back to where they said, “I do” and reflect on their marriage journey.

We arrived an hour early and sat by the lake the catch up. When I lived in San Diego, I saw these two multiple times a week so I always treasure our quality time because the distance makes it harder to see one another. I loved being able to have the venue completely to ourselves and take full advantage of all the gorgeousness that it has to offer. After photographing their proposal and engagement session, Josh and Riley have become pros behind the camera. I’m so blessed to have this sweet pair in my life and I can’t wait to see what God has in store of them for round two! Congrats Josh and Riley!
