Wedding: Jeff & Melissa | Mt. Woodson Castle, CA | Analisa Joy Photography | San Diego, CA Wedding Photographer

I’m so excited to share my favorite images from Jeff and Melissa’s wedding day. I have absolutely loved working with this sweet couple during their journey to the alter. I photographed their engagement, I secretly photographed Melissa’s boudoir, and I had the privilege of photographing their wedding day. Leading up, the weather was clear skies and sunny, but for those who live in San Diego, you know it tends to be randomly bipolar. The night prior to their wedding day, we were greeted with rain– and lots of it! These two planned on having their entire wedding outside and they quickly had to find a plan B. I would check in with Melissa and she was always on top of things and not allowing the rain to damper her big day. She ordered a tent, bought some rain boots, and put out umbrellas. She even told me she would embrace the rain when it came to taking their portraits outside. When we arrived on the wedding day, it rained throughout their entire getting ready. We had to move their first looks inside and under the hotel carport, but when we drove to their venue, the clouds parted and the sunshine appeared.  The forecast predicted only rain, but we managed to squeeze in all their pictures in that pocket of sunshine! Jeff and Melissa had nothing but great attitudes throughout this entire experience and they were the life of their party. The food at their wedding was some of the best I’ve tasted with the variety of food stations, an ice cream bar, and a S’more station. They danced late into the night and gathered their closest friends for an after party at a restaurant nearby. I always get sad when the main event is over because that means our excuse to get together for pictures is over, but that’s when I start crossing my fingers for little ones on the way ;) Congrats Jeff and Melissa!

I loved that their shirts had a Disney font. Melissa celebrated her bachelorette at Disneyland!

Opening his boudoir book. Melissa sneaked away for a “girls night” and I met her at the Hotel Del Coronado where we captured some awesome shots for Jeff!

Although it wasn’t our original plan, I thought it was romantic taking pictures under the car port while it rained around us.

Are they adorable or what!?Pin thisimageThey had to squeeze everyone inside for the ceremony. I loved that the room was packed with guests who were as easy going as my couple. Rain or shine, they were just were just excited to watch these two say, “I do.”
