“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Psalms 23: 1-4
Amongst the tragedy that our family experienced in February, I am so happy to share that God quickly blessed Luke and Bree with another child. We are all so excited to welcome baby Lucas into our lives this upcoming December. I photographed Luke and Bree’s maternity session with Kylie and it was an honor to photograph their second maternity session with my soon-to-be nephew. Trent and I are also having a son in February and we can’t wait to see all the trouble that these two boys will get into. My other in-laws have a son as well. He recently turned one and we love that our little guy is going to have so many boy cousins to play with.
It has been record breaking heat in San Diego so it was nice to escape out to Julian and finally experience Fall. I loved that Bree incorporated Christmas into their session in celebration of their Christmas baby. The colorful details and their outfits came out beautifully and it made us all anxious for the upcoming holiday seasons. Our shoot ended with the most beautiful sunset and a gorgeous rainbow for our drive home. We enjoyed a family dinner afterwards and discussed how much fun it is going to be to have little boys in our lives. I’m so thankful that Luke and Bree get to start 2016 with their son and I’m looking forward to all the new memories that they are going to make!
They have a pilot themed nursery. I love those tiny shoes and that jacket!
