Marisa: Life Session | Jamul, CA

I know I say this a lot, but I can’t believe how lucky I am to do something that I love. Being a photographer is such a blessing, I love the personal interaction I receive with my clients and I love that each weekend I have the opportunity to create images that are new and unique. I always go into a session with ideas in mind, but once we get started they always seem to fly out the window. My mind races a mile a minute as I observe the light, the shadows, the trees, the walls, the colors and the props that my clients pull out of their Mary Poppin’s bag. When I met with Marisa for her maternity session I couldn’t have been more excited when I saw all the goodies that she hauled from her purse. She had accessories, stuff animals, baby books, and all the little baby trinkets you can think of. I have known Marisa for 15 years and I couldn’t be more excited for little Ellie Rose who is coming into the world this April. Marisa is going to be the most beautiful and nurturing mother and I can’t wait to hug, kiss, babysit, and photograph Ellie for years to come.
