People said I couldn’t do it, but I managed to edit 7 sessions in one weekend… I am watching the sun rise as we speak. I’m leaving for Hawaii this afternoon and I wanted to make sure everyone would receive their images before I left because once my toes touch the sand I will be on vacation mode. No emails, no cell phone, and no computer for seven glorious days. However, before I go I wanted to blog my brother and his beautiful wifey’s maternity session.
Luke and Bree tied the knot last May and a few months later they discovered they were about to be blessed with a little girl. Photographing family is so much fun, but it is also a tedious task. It was two hours worth of goofing around and trying to get those money shots in between laughter. Throughout our session, my brother kept hassling me that I should be paying him since he was modeling for me, my sister kept making Luke and Bree laugh with her clumsiness, and I would never let anyone leave because there were so many places I wanted to shoot at from the location that Bree picked out. Wait until you see some of the spots we found, this place is magical!
The day after our session, Bree went to the doctor and discovered she would need to be bed ridden until little Kiley is born. Her due date is May 30th and she has been told to stay in bed since March 29th. That is a looong time to be stuck in bed. However, she has had a few checkups since then and Bree and the baby are happy and strong. We are hoping Kiley stays in that belly until she is due.
I am so proud of my brother and Bree for the dramatic changes they have made within the last year. New house, new cars, new jobs, and now a new family. They have been blessed with so much and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for their life once Kiley arrives. I am so excited to be an auntie and I can’t wait to photograph my little niece. Get ready for a handful of images once she arrives! Congrats Luke and Bree, I love you guys!
