My photo sessions change with the seasons. In the beginning of the year I mainly photograph seniors as they prepare themselves for graduation. In the middle of the year I spend almost all my weekends photographing couples tying the knot. Toward the end of the year and as the holidays approach I receive a large inquiry for family sessions. I couldn’t be more excited to start this season’s of family sessions with the Curry’s. Every year the Curry family drives down to California for a family reunion. This year was an exciting gathering because they added four new little ones into the mix. Helen Curry is now the grandmother of four beautiful new babies and she is also a lover for Disneyland. She decided for this year’s family reunion that she would combine her two loves and she surprised everyone with three day Disneyland passes. I love that the Curry siblings are all so close in age and how almost all of them just recently had their first kid about two months apart from one another. These cousins are going to have so much fun growing up together. The Curry’s loved bringing their new bundles of joy to Disneyland for the first time and I have to give them all major props since the oldest baby is only 8 months old. On the last day of their reunion they all relaxed by the beach and prepared for a family photo session… with me! I loved that all the adults wore white and that grandma Curry made four vibrant outfits for all the babies. We started our session at their hotel and ended the evening at a nearby beach. With four babies between 4-8 months old I was impressed that we only experienced a few cries in the beginning of our session. It only took about ten minutes before I had them all smiling and posing for the camera. I had so much fun hanging out with the Curry’s and I am anxious to see if there will be any new add ons at next years renion.
