Engagement Session: Mark & Ariell | Analisa Joy Photography | San Diego, CA Photographer

I had so much fun hanging out with Mark and Ariell during their engagement session. We headed into the mountains where we were greeted with fresh smells of pine, warm sunshine, gorgeous creeks, and a beautiful sunset. These two were so nervous for their photo session (which is very common amongst my couples) and I was excited to ease their anxiety. For most people, their engagement session is the first time that they have ever received professional photos. In the world of Pinterest and social media, it’s easy to put pressure on yourself to receive those perfect set of portraits. However, I try to steer my couples away from the thought process that they need to capture the most viral Pinterest shot and instead have a session that shows off their genuine love and personalty. That is when you will truly capture your dream photos because they will be creative and unique to you! Their worries quickly subsided into our session and they so much fun exploring, snuggling, and taking pictures. I loved getting to know these two and I learned so much about Mark and Ariell during our two hours together. Mark and Ariell are high school sweethearts and they have been together for seven years. They got engaged on the beach in San Francisco with the Golden Gate Bridge as their backdrop. Ariell cried her eyes out and she has since proclaimed it as the happiest day of her entire life. I can’t wait to photograph this sweet couple next year on their wedding day. Congrats Mark and Ariell!
