I am so in love with Joe and Hillary’s engagement session! These two are truly a match made in heaven. It’s encouraging to meet couples for the first time and recognize how perfectly paired they are. I went to junior high with Hillary, and I was always inspired by her fashion, curls, and outgoing personality. She has always been a trend setter and it has been so much fun to watch her creativity shine through her work. Hillary recently started a gifting business called, Give It Golden. Her services provide gift baskets, unique wedding welcome gifts, personalized corporate gifting retreat welcome gifts, and everything in between. Thanks to social media, pictures of Hillary and Joe would fill my feed and I was happy to see that she found her true love. When Hillary’s name popped up in my inbox, I was ecstatic to read that she was engaged and wanted me to photograph this special time in her life. We booked their wedding that day and got together a week later for their engagement session. I love that these two are so easy going and on top of it! Most couples take months to plan their sessions and they were ready to knock out their photo shoot the following weekend. I could instantly see why Hillary loves Joe. He is sweet, affectionate, and he effortlessly adores Hillary. Joe was always complimenting her and he embraced every second of this photo shoot without a single complaint (which isn’t the case for most guys). Joe is a baseball recruiter at SDSU and he has the coolest personality. He makes you feel like you’ve been friends for years and has a very warm/welcoming spirit. I love that they brought their pup named Olive because she is one of my all time favorite dog breeds and I went home that evening begging my husband for one. I had the best time hanging out with these two and I am excited/honored to be their wedding photographer. My favorites are posted below… Enjoy!

My favorite! Hillary’s ring is so unique and personalized. Hillary is very close to her family and recently her father passed away from cancer.
This was the ring Hilary’s dad used when he proposed to Hilary’s mom and now it is passed down to keep the love in the family forever.
