I met Clint and Erika a few months ago at their wedding consultation. I was shooting in PB and they wanted to make it easy on me so we arranged our appointment at Baked Bear. This was by far my favorite meeting place! If you haven’t been, you need to finish this blog, hop in your car, and go create a delicious ice cream cookie sandwich. Most meetings take about an hour, but I hung out with these two for over three hours. THREE HOURS! We were laughing and talking like we have been friends since high school. I knew after our meeting that I was about to be blessed with two new friends.
I can’t WAIT for you all to check out Clint and Erika’s engagement session. What I love about Erika is her natural ability to be different. She doesn’t follow the trends and every time we get together she has something unique and creative up her sleeves. She told me that she didn’t want the average engagement session so she stylized their session with a 1930s vibe. Head pieces, stockings, a tailored suit, and retro cars were only a few of the ingredients that were incorporated throughout their shoot. Clint has easily moved his way to the top as one of the funniest guys I have photographed. I laugh at almost everything he says. I love his quick wit and he go with the flow attitude. These two exceeded all my expectations and their sessions will be filed away with some of my all time favorites.
Afterwards, they invited me to dinner. We headed to Burger Lounge near Little Italy and once again, we talked for over an hour. Clint and Erika are an amazing couple and I feel so lucky to have been chosen by them as their wedding photographer. They are tying the knot at the new Library in downtown San Diego. Knowing Erika, it’s going to be out of the box creative and I am already counting down the days until I photograph their big day. Congrats Clint and Erika!
Do they look amazing or what?!
