Personal: Disneyland | Analisa Joy Photography | Upland, CA Photographer

It’s my goal to blog more personal events this year. I used to blog all the time, but when my work schedule got hectic, I put it on the back burner. I love when old blogs popup in my Facebook memories, so here’s to documenting more life moments!

We live forty minutes away from Disneyland and we love visiting when we have some free time. Trent recently had a big test and after he passed, he wanted to celebrate at the happiest place on earth. We met with our in-laws who haven’t been to Disneyland in over a decade. They brought their kids for the first time EVER and it was a magical experience. Disneyland is way more fun through the eyes of children. This is the best time to go to Disneyland because the weather isn’t great, schools in session, no holiday is approaching, and the lines/attractions are much shorter.

My favorite memory from the day was toward the end when we watched World of Color. World of Color is my FAVORITE show at Disneyland! If you haven’t seen it, it’s worth the wait. You can get your tickets by the Grizzly Rapids ride. We all had a kid on our shoulders and in the middle of the show they shoot fire into the air. It starts of small and it gradually builds up. When my niece saw the first poof of fire she whispered, “run.” When the fire really began to blast she started yelling, “runnnnn!” I laugh out loud still thinking about it. I love any excuse to spend time with my family and we could not have asked for a better day!

My favorite gifts are Disney apparel (especially if they are unique).
My sister got me this jacket. It’s the cutest!

Cute Mickey ears from Sparkles & Studs

Cloudy weather is my favorite weather!

Cutest beanie gifted from our in-laws! Thank you Knute and Jess!

My favorite guys!

My sweet niece Kordelia was afraid of the rides.
She agreed to go on them ONLY if Trent wrapped her in his jacket.

My niece Kambria! She’s at the best age for Disneyland!

My nephew Kaswel! Knee deep in the twos.
He’s full of energy and incredibly smart! Love this guy!

Dumbo was a hit!

Still wrapped in his jacket! Too cute!

I used to be a stroller hater at theme parks and now I’m lost without one.
I love big baskets so they can hold all our extra junk!

The world’s sweetest mama!

Love these guys! Such attentive/helpful dads!

If you’re doing a family trip with kids, ask for a “rider switch” pass when you get to the front of the line. With rider switch, one adult stays behind (with the baby/kids) while the rest of the party goes on the ride. When everyone returns, the person who stayed behind can board the attraction without having to wait in the regular line again (and you get to bring guests with you). We love using these passes on the Toy Story ride!

Until next time! Probably tomorrow! :)
